New special volunteer campaign supports Toys for Tots
A Special Volunteer Campaign to provide toys, books, coats and hats has been organized by the Managed Care Innovations Team to support Toys for Tots. Gallagher Bassett employees Kim Copeland, Claim Representative Trainee and Margaret Smith, Claims Assistant, are organizing an effort to collect toys now through the end of the year for donation to families in need. The collection will be given to the Montgomery County Fire Department and Police Department who annually hosts a toy donation for distribution in December.
The MCI Team values the opportunity to work with the Montgomery County Self-Insurance Program and express our appreciation, in part, by giving back to the community. Special thanks to Kim and Margaret for making the effort.
Opportunity to donate each month
Each month we will be collecting a variety of "newly" purchased items (Toys, Books, Scarfs/Hats) to donate to the Montgomery County Police Department & to the Montgomery County Fire Department. Please see the following Monthly themes:
May - books, crayons, and coloring books
June - balls & bubbles
July - stuff animals
August - dolls & trucks
September - puzzles & games
October - baby toys
November - hats, scarves, mittens / gloves
December - a toy of your choice
